Solution

From this special topic brief I decided to create a photography book. I was able to deepen my interest and understanding of a traditional form of  graphic design, including book layout, print, and bookbinding.

Biding Belonging is a hand-bound photography book created to capture the emotional connection between adults and their cherished possessions.

Every design element—from the blue colour palette, sans-serif font to the choice of paper weight, meaningful photography, and personal stories were carefully considered to highlight the importance of these items and accurately represent the memories and emotions tied to them.

Involvement

This project was primarily focused on the physical craft of the bookbinding process from start to finish.

Photography, layout design ,bypass printing, cutting, binding the spine and creating the book cover.
