Brief

Gain a solid understanding of basic design elements and principles such as typography, colour, and grids. Then, apply what you’ve learned to create posters based on each of the three principles, inspired by a song of your choice.

Solution

Each poster focuses on one of the basic design principles and demonstrates my understanding of these elements, allowing me to push beyond the basics and experiment creatively.

This series of posters is inspired by the song Crowded Roomz by Nia Archives. I aimed not only to apply each design principle but also to visually convey the feelings and emotions expressed in the song.

Involvement

This project involved a range of mixed media such as photography, paint, editing, and graphic design, to push the limits of the basic design principles.
